The acting was so bad, I laughed throughout the movie

I am a huge RE fan. I was disappointed with the acting. I did appreciate the easter eggs from the video game series in this Netflix series. However, I can't emphasize how the acting was horrible. When the sisters were younger/older the storyline was long and drawn out. Weak character development. When the characters were in the present the characters were making mistakes as if the zombie apocalypse was a new phenomenon. There was a scene where the main character jumped from several stories to the ground and not a scratch. If the series wasn't about zombies, I would call out all the inconsistencies in fiction. I felt each scene was predictable and each episode could have easily been 20 something minutes.
