This is not a complete film. Good story. These are good actors. Excellent cast. They filmed it in Rome in & around the Vatican so the atmosphere is very realistic & it's actually creepy. You can clearly see where this was going but it never gets there. It never really gets anywhere because they must have run out of money or something because the ' ending' was just tacked on & comes out of nowhere & makes no sense because it's not a real ending. Reminds me of the kind of ending that television series have as a contingency plan in case they don't get renewed for another season. Don't watch this because it will only make you mad & is , ultimately, a complete waste of time. Wasted potential.

This isn't just the best 'PREDATOR' film in decades, it's the best film of it's kind in decades . This returns the franchise to it's sci fi/horror/action movie roots with a heavy emphasis on the horror & action . This isn't some ' little' movie like some had feared. It's got all of the amenities in its production you would expect of a film produced by Disney but they seemed to just let Dan Trachtenberg , it's director , make the movie that this franchise desperately needed to be made. I'd almost forgotten how much fun these movies can be when done well & this one was done almost perfectly. Amber Midthunder is the most believable ' final girl ' of all time. This movie kicks some a--.

Mediocre at best . Pointless remake really. The cast is decent but the writer gave them nothing to work with. The young actress who plays Charlie, the firestarter, was excellent . Its too bad the writer & director couldn't give her something better to work with. Another wasted opportunity.
