This is the most bonkers and nonsensical narrative album I've ever heard, but because it takes itself 100% seriously it's also the best.
Basic premise is that God's enacting judgement day, and for some reason Texas is the promised land.
So, because I guess he has literally nobody better to turn to, he gets three Texas rock n' roll boys to bring the entire population of Earth to Texas, which in return to doing they'll become big stars.
I mean... that's all you need to know really. All are lyrics are either occult religious symbolism or completely bonkers, the instruments are boosted to all hell and awesome.
This is the peak of insane early 2000s post rock.
