It was truly an awesome experience, and it is my honour that I was able to watch this movie. The movie is a slap to the pre-independent social system and patriarchy that still exists in the major part of our homeland. Though the story was established almost 20 years ago, we can feel the shame that it still has not changed for most parts of our country and the same social upbringing is commonly accepted as normal. The acting was good. But the most eye-catching is the direction and development of the characters and their intertwined relationships. I sincerely hope that I can see more of this type of movie in future, not just in the cozy environment of the drawing room but out in the theatre filled with like-minded audiences.

I kept delaying the watch of this movie for sometime as I have not felt the urge to watch it as I thought it would be too arty and had hypocritic storyline. But...... ooo I was wrong. It was gritty and the thrill I felt throughout the journey of Dasru and the little baby Joram, it was too good. I should not characterize such films in any sophisticated adjectives but to describe it I want denote it as "THE FILM". It was truley a superb performance from one of my fav Mr. Manoj Bajpayee Ji. A lot of praise have already been portryaed to him and he is worth for every word of it. Mohammed Zeeshan though did very well as the Police office as Ratnakar. But the performance that i like second best is from Sunita Tambe as the politician Phulo Karma. She portyaed such emotion perfectly. P.S. I rented the movie from amazon and I think My 129 rupess are worth it. I did not regret it even a little bit. It is the first time I rented some movies. But i think the film deserves it.

The series started slowly. The POV from the animals towards the humans were extraordinary as I have not seen anywhere else. All of them acted pretty well. Dibyendu Bhattacharya is superb as he was in undekhi. The series took pace at the end of episode 3 and never looked back. I have to mention one particular character named Thambi, the gatekeeper who was played by sampat deepak. His small roll impressed me a lot. His eyes reminded me of late irfan khan. I hope to see from him in a bigger role in a future project. I remember seeing patallok series and found out an extraordinry actor Jaideep Ahawalt who later did extremely well in Jane Jaan. I hope sampat deepak will find his own patallok.
