The final battle between the FIVE irons Chef’s and Chef Esther Choi and her TWO sous chefs was unevenly matched and sorely lacking in actually making the “Iron Chefs” prove themselves superior to the challenger. The plates they made lacked creativity and actually pushing past their comfort zones and truly proving their creativity. For the “Iron Chefs” to successfully beat the challenger, they should prove their ability to work together, cook together, and blend their dishes and styles of cooking together to exemplify professional collaboration, rather than just getting to make their individual dishes or, they should all face the challenger in individual battles. Chef Esther Choi, and her sous chefs, proved themselves worthy and should have WON title of Iron Legend. That gold knife should have been hers.
