Again as with Miss Marvel I felt like I wanted more in terms of the synergy of spiderman's character development against the twists and turns of the plot...it seemed like the plot was thrown together from a mish mash of separate ideas with little cohesion to the actual underlying themes of what needs to mature inside of parker to win the day as well as the girl but as the villian was such a weak deception compared to the real evil MCU conjures up from real multiuniverses it faded into an abysmal attempt at trying to bring too much together to fast with little idea of context and became a very predictable almost cliche of what we have come to expect from the MCU. Yet as Spiderman is such a likable young hero despite all the failings of the plot etc the young actor who plays our hero held the whole thing together from beginning to end with his good acting and general style. If the MCU want to beat DC they must revisit the meanings that made previous storylines work or we are just wasting our time seeing revamped, trumped up versions of essentially the same thing...no more using these weak formulas to create movies...bring on something original inspiring yet real...pleasssse
