When I was little, I’d often put her music while my little sisters and I cleaned. I’m not Japanese by any means. I’m Mexican and Salvadoran. But I grew up in a very musical family and with early exposure to the internet, I was introduced to her music and many other Japanese artists that I’d still listen to, to this day. Angel Touch will always hold a special place in my heart as the album that would bring my sisters and I together.
