I was expecting an English Patient. It was not. I actually left about 20 minutes before it ended and my kids told me how it ended. The whole movie was unwatchable. If you like movies about abuse, rape, torture, murder, completely implausible love affairs, suffering of immense magnitudes, and one man’s illogical respect for the king who is probably just as despicable as the lord in the movie, then you should watch it. I would give it zero stars. People actually guffawed a few times during the movie, the plot was so ridiculous.
