The plot and script had a fundamental problem. Vincent was a caring father who was working hard to make ends meet. He was also very good at his job. He was spending time with his son, used to take him to the show. He was also deprived of his greedy parents´ love and support. There was no monster in him. It was shown that he was an alcoholic, but based on the plot he started drinking a lot after missing his son. So, why did the script want to convince us that there was a monster in him? That was a contradiction and big hole in the plot. On the other hand, the mother was apparently cheating and had got pregnant before missing his son from another man, but she was depicted a a good mother. Please review your plot and scripts before making a series to solve these kind of fundamental contradictions.
