As a loyal sopranos fan since it’s first airing I was so looking forward to this movie. To say I was utterly disappointed is an understatement. It actually is more of a movie about things that had nothing to do with the sopranos than a sopranos prequel It has some of the sopranos characters and tries to tie in some events from the show but instead of giving fans the prequel we so longed for, it tells a whole new story with a flawed timeline and a lot of new characters. There were so many stories to tell that I just can’t understand why this goes in such an odd direction. I can hardly believe this is the same David Chase who created the Sopranos show.
