I have watched this woman from her humble beginnings on the Food Network and it was such a blow to watch this show. There is such a lack of humility throughout and a real disconnect with the everyday people she originally appealed to in the early days. How do I sympathize with someone who is unhappy with her custom built Parisian stove? Her issue with the position of her expensive grand piano? The imperfections in the kitchen she has in her master bedroom? This was just sad and disappointing. I also wondered why the producers didn’t weigh in on the fact that it looked like Rachel did nothing but wander around drinking wine and waving her arms. Seemed like a lesson on how people with a lot of money forget what it must be like for those of us who aren’t so lucky. Don’t bother watching this one.
