Disappointing except for the two great stars. Why would they even do a movie with little meaning??

A Superbly made movie with a cast par excellence. A true story of immense tragedy depicting the very sordid true to life experiences of pressure to belong. The immigrant family and their kids… torn between east and west and where eventually to belong. Bless these unfortunate people … when all they want is to live a better life. Preferably without too much loss. Well done!!!

Steve Carell is versatile….. in that he can play any role brilliantly. I mean look at the goofball he portrayed in The Office. The next one that moved me immensely was A Beautiful Boy with the young and very charismatic Timotee Chalamet. Where Steve played this anguished father. Again brilliantly. And now this. It is as if he was meant to be in this role. An older, more mature and very attractive Steve Carell. The ending was startling but well placed to make the series even more recommended. Well done everyone! I look forward to more such elements of acting and all else that goes into making a piece like The Patient. Thank you.

Clearly a hodgepodge of emphasis on SnM and dysfunction!!. I often wonder what is the purpose of making such movies? If the intent is to leave a mark, I’m afraid the mark it left on me is nothing worthy of positive mention.

I preferred not to get bogged down by the length of the series (6 seasons) But instead revelled in everything else that would prompt me to recommend this series.... As in Acting, Script, Makeup, Wardrobe, Cinematography.... Bravo!!!!

I thought this was an extremely well made series. Didn’t give it 5* because i didn’t see the need to drag it on so much. It could’ve been condensed into fewer episodes. My 2 cent bit if you will

Young lale steals the movie... with her tears in the beginning, her overall feistyness for the most part and then her show of love and relief at the end. a very beautiful candid movie.

Loved the movie.. Albeit a tad slow at times. Great acting. The ending was a bit abrupt
