Strange, or sad to see so many duff reviews here. The film is a masterpiece. Alex Garland is one of the greatest contemporary filmmakers. Men makes for uncomfortable but necessary viewing. A tour de force of that deepest of themes, the struggle between men and women, one men have manipulated in their favour for the whole of his-story. Ignore the muggles ratings here, and go see an independent British work of art, easily up there with Von Trier, Tarkovsky, anyone. Thank you Alex Garland. Extraordinary, heavyweight performances, a profound and subconscious shaking contemplation.
