Imagine someone like Cersei winning 90% of the time and Tyrion mostly on the losing side. I felt no sympathy at all for the main character (Marla), which was maybe the point, but in the end I just wanted her to suffer the way she made her victims suffer. There simply wasn’t enough payback for her sins. It also felt like this movie had misogynistic undertones - while on the surface trying to show strong women outsmarting most of the men, the message that comes across is that women can only be successful when they are evil and rotten to the core.
