Yesterday... The beginning plot is a mess, it kind of makes no since why Jack had to be hit by a bus. The plot made no suggestions on why this needed to happen. As the movie goes on, Jack and Ellie’s love could have been explored more and made more sense at the end. It’s also strange how Ed comes into the movie. It was frustrating for my other family members when a song was played multiple times but was never finished. The resolution felt rushed and was not very satisfying, while the ending was sweet. With all that said and done, it’s an enjoyable watch but it will not blow you out of the water. I found many parts confusing but if you just forget the massively disappointing plot holes, it will make it so much enjoyable.
