Joyce Figgins

The acting was outstanding especially Ralph Fiennes and Stanley Tucci. The music captivated the mood of the scenes and the visuals were awesome especially in the umbrella scene. John Lithgow was impeccable as Joseph Cardinal Tremblay. The movie was thought provoking and sometimes very intense which reflected the struggles in the process of making a difficult decision in the mist of the controversies, rumors, and outside influences.

There is too much unnecessary sex scenes and violence. Costume design is awesome but the yarn wigs and hair pieces are too intricate and look fake. All of this takes away from the storyline of the movie as well as too many conspiracies can be confusing. The acting is adequate as well as the script, special effects, music, camera shots and stunts. I'd like to see more scenes with the dragons. It doesn't have the original flare that GOT had and seems like a cheap sequel.
