I will honestly say someone forgot to work on plot and storyline/characters as much as they worked on visuals. I checked out after 2/3 of the movie and cringed through the romance parts. Romance between teenagers was disturbing to say at least... and for all it is - Alita herself is made to look more like a cute lovestruck girl rather than a warrior. So much for progressive visuals and so little for progressive plot? Oh, and the anime eyes... those have rubbed me in a wrong wAy. Dialogue is so poor and predictable I felt like watching a cheap soapy teenage drama with mild sexual cyborg-fetish. Characters are flat as a popped tire, CGI gets tiring with time, NOTHING is explained about the world or the plot. Rushed ending. Just a bad, bad, anime adaptation for anyone who’s familiar with the manga. They tried to squeeze in all the story and ended up all over the place. Glad I didn’t spend my hard earned money to rent it.

B-rated show with b-rated pretentious scenery that has more holes than a Swiss cheese and b-rated actors who barely pull their weight.Can be fun of you don’t think too much about what’s going on, the show has a spectacular bling and lots of pretty faces.

Terrible, don't waste your money

I honestly didn’t expect this remake to be so dark and eerie. They definitely put more thought into making this show a glamorous horror than a teenage drama. Nothing like 90es original, and please don’t let ur kids watch it thinking it’s 90es funny spin off, unless u want them to have vivid nightmares after. It’s very... adult themed, and I feel like it takes a lot from AHS but for teenagers. It’s sexy and charming in its own dark way.
