Growing up, this movie was a staple. I remember when It came out. I was granted in 5th grade. I got the DVD and the Dolls (I always wanted the astronova set) Recently as the monster High movies were put on Amazon prime I put on Boo York to just get a glimpse back to what I was watching when I was younger. Expecting to cringe and frown at the movie for plot holes or bad writing, I was instead shocked by a touching story grappling music and lovable characters that I could relate to and laugh with.
