It's a bit of a lemon and I suspect Ridley Scott knows it. Firstly, it's knowingly historically and biographically inaccurate in some areas; not a good start for a historical bio-pic. Secondly it's obsessed with Napoleon's sex life; his least interesting achievement. Lastly, the dialogue is poor and makes the characters seem flat. Better luck next time.
