I purchased my first copy around 1964 when I was 9 years old. I loved it and have it still today. I read it to my children when they were young, and they loved it also. I purchased a new copy for my grandson when he was a little boy, and my daughter continued the tradition. The original is well worn and well loved in our family. I highly recommend this book for those young at heart who want to believe a bit of magic could exist. Beautifully written.
