A good first viewing. It's up there for me with 'Kita Kita'... poignant, Jelson's character felt like "someone I might've met in real life" and was well-portrayed on-screen. A welcome change that it didn't follow the rom-com formula. Initially the title had me expecting a similarity with like-titled, 'Finding Alaska' Discovering it was different was totally not a disappointment. The flaws I eventually read from reviews afterwards does not take away from liking the film.
