This is a very tragic and moving read. We read about migrants and refugees almost every day in the newspapers but never really know the detail of what people have been through. Leaving behind their beloved homeland, the hardship, tragedy and suffering to escape persecution in order to attain a better life for themselves and their families. We should not judge, just listen and open our hearts to those less fortunate than ourselves.

Anthony Hopkins played this role beautifully. It brought back so many memories of my late mother’s slow decline into the dementia world. Such a frightening and confusing experience for the sufferer - a sad way to end ones life - and, I recall, a feeling of helplessness for the relatives/carer. I felt such a failure when I had to place Mum into specialist care. I just wish I could see her again and tell her how much I loved and miss her.
