Honestly in the beginning of this movie I didn’t know what to expect, I thought it was going to be a poorly delivered movie in which it wasn’t, if you like movies that are unexpected and exciting this movie is for you. I ended up getting confused in some scenes in which I love since it makes you question things lol the movie scenes are usually filmed inside the house and outside, basically like the movie the invitation. Some movies tend to do a lot to keep the audience engage or different scenarios but in this movie that’s not the case, it literally doesn’t need any of that because they truly did capture the personality of the characters and the plot of the movie! Go watch it I rlly recommend you give it a try.

I think this movie is good for teenagers to be aware of schizophrenia and other mental illnesses but I don’t think it’s 100% realistic which is what you get from this drama romance movie. I like how it captures the hallucinations that he sees and the voices either good and bad that are unexpected moments in his life. I have a sister that has schizophrenia and a cousin as well. This mental illness runs in my family and I can really feel like they tried to capture what is going on in his head as well as the whole process of going to therapy, taking medication etc. the only issue I had with this movie was the ending, sadly not every person has the chance to deal and take control of their mental illness. Making it to seem as a happy ending when it really isn’t for some people.. though it’s bound to happen in these type of movies since they want you to be happy in the end lol I wasn’t really moved till it brought me tears from the movie as I’d rlly wish I was.
