Interesting and good. The story moves in an appreciable manner with all the actors playing their part well. The heroine is dominating throughout the film.

I saw this film in 1977 in a top theatre complex in chennai ( blue diamond?)(after shifting to mumbai for job in 1975). As a young lad, I was fascinated by the movie, songs and actors (Amol and Vidya). Even now as 68 year old, I am happy to see pictures like Rajnigandha, choti si bath and chitchor, Anand, Piya ka Ghar, bavarchi, annadhata, baton baton mei, mili, Swami etc. This can be because of my rural background in my younger days coupled with good portrayal of middle class people by Basu Chatterjee (and Rishi kesh Mukherjee too) in his films.

Excellent positive film preaching good human values with excellent acting by Jaya and Om Prakash. Melodious songs which penetrate heart. Took me to that era. I wish youngsters watch such films atleast once.

Good entertainment, though bhool bulaiya 1 was better. However stories are different. The actors are good or very good, scenes entertaining. Worth watching definitely.

I was suffering from acute jaundice and took long time to recover to normalcy in 2011. Later I faced other problems which finally ended in my getting asthmatic attacks in 2015. I watched this film only in 2015. I liked the film and the characters and positivity, songs etc. I felt energised once again and tried to recover by reducing medicine intake during this period. During past few years, I have watched this film often, when my mood was down for some or other reasons. I sincerely feel part 2 of this film I even long for another part of the film.

Worth seeing. We need to. Increase our knowledge regarding history and epic too. Though I have read about Ram Sethi and Dwaraka many times, still I am eager to watch such films. The characters are more realistic.Good effort by Akshay Kumar and his team of actors.

I watched this in Jan.2023. Definitely it was a simple, straight and entertaining film giving adequate space to good number of actors, including jai, Manisha Yadav and paRtiban. Photography was good.

The film was very good and I saw twice and would like to see again in view of the positive vibes created by the movie. I also want to offer my condolences to the family of the person Karimi ( on whose experience the film is based andwho spent his time in Paris airport and expired recently).

I saw this film yesterday on 1.11.22 in Mumbai. As an ardent fan of Kalkis Ponniyin Selvan, I found it very good. Maniratnam has done an excellent job along with his team to bring the salient features on the screen. I appreciate Karthik, Vikram, Jeyam Ravi, Aishwarya Rai, Trisha, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Sarath Kumar, Prakash, paRtiban, Jeyaram, Prabhu and Vikram Prabhu, Kishore and all ther actors who tried their best to fit in the characters. I was fascinated more by Poonguzhalis song Aazkaladin aazham Nilavu Ariyadho.. more than other songs. thought
