I love historical Kdramas but this fell…flat. The sfx was pretty bad and the choreography was lacking. However, I do commend them for taking a fantasy route which I don’t normally see often in Kdramas but in Cdramas. Furthermore, there was a lack of chemistry between the female lead and any of the male leads. I’m not sure if it’s the poor writing or the subpar acting but I couldn’t see the female lead with anyone. The thing that has kept me watching was the ‘drama’ and because I’m bored. I appreciate the idea of the plot but the plot itself was poorly executed.
