Incredibly compelling! With his powerful performance, Jim Caviezel, once again, demonstrates his remarkable ability to breathe life into a character. Perfectly cast, this movie captures one's attention in the very first scene. I am grateful to everyone involved in the making of this critically important film for illuminating the tragedy of "throw away" children.

I have loved this movie since its debut in 1998; in fact, it's my favorite movie of the 90s. Hanks and Ryan are perfect in their roles. Jean Stapleton reveals the breadth of her acting ability as she is cast against type here. Superb film!
