Acting is intense. Writing the characters is full of insight into trying to live a life you must hide. Psychological depth in the moves of each character to work out the dilemmas that stop them from living and living freely. I just wrapped the series around me and lived the moments with them. Usually the sex in shows is formulaic. But not here. And the intensity of the sexual moves by each reveals more about them. I loved the editing …the cut from one period to the next added dimension to both sides of the cut.. few series have moved me as much as this one and I am 82 years old. It didn’t matter.. the depth of characterization made it appealing to all those who love to live with an intensity unusual in todays’ world
