This is an out and out classic movie, that for whatever reason just didn't land with the audiences at the time, and is therefore largely forgotten. Unlike a lot of 80's movies, this still stands up today and doesn't feel dated.
It's a classic cowboy story, bad guy kidnaps girl, good guy rescues her, but set in a 1950's style distopian city with biker gangs and rock music. What's not to like?
