I was waiting to see when it was going to get funny and then the ending credits started. Lots of talent was wasted in this movie but hopefully, they can at least say they had fun filming. Kenya Barris continues to be a one-trick pony by imagining the most 2-D racial stereotypes and concluding that it's the black person/people who are innocent and victimized even though all parties involved were cringy.

I was originally interested in seeing this because I like Aubrey Plaza, but this was probably the most underwhelming crime thriller I've ever seen. I kept waiting for anything exciting or intense. Nobody is doing all this over student loans, so they could have come up with a more high-stakes reason.

Very cheesy & predictable like most Christmas movies. This one could have been on the Hallmark channel. It was good to see Lindsay Lohan back on screen though.
