Critics are generally less talented than the people they critique - and you lot are no exception.
As a viewer, and hopefully without pretensions I say this film was quite beautiful. Ken is a fine actor and director, Ben's script was sharp and graceful. Cinematography and production superlative.
and as for the rest of the cast - well Judy Dench you cant go wrong.
