What if an action-adventure animation for kids had the a full live-action remake with special effects? Moonwalker is essentially that -- a kids show made into live-action. The story is something I would've made up as a young boy: I always found space, lasers, robots, fast cars, and swat teams exciting; so I appreciated Moonwalker when I was younger, and I thought it was cool and magical. You will struggle to see the appeal of this movie as an adult. I especially liked this movie because of the Sega Genesis video game with the same name. The song "Smooth Criminal" is a musical masterpiece and its music video is an homage to Fred Astaire. If you have not played the video game(s) and you are not a Michael Jackson fan, I would not recommend this movie to you.
