A few of the songs were a little disappointing and the CGI bordered on bizarre, but overall it was a pretty faithful adaptation. I'm not sure what critics were expecting. It's Cats. It's a silly, super weird family film with some great music. Jennifer Hudson kills it. Rating up to balance out this negativity.
