The long awaited movie ending at last. No beating about the bush. Just at the point when Hollywood was making us sick and tired watching movies that have no conclusion due to their hunger for sequels and prequels. This movie has a satisfactory ending that makes its viewers sit back with sigh of relief. The Black Phone movie concept isn't new to ardent movie enthusiast. It has the right amount of thrill even where it seems predictable, but also interesting enough to keep viewers at the edge of the seat anticipating what the psychic little sister to the captive will figure out in her dreams about her brother's whereabouts, who by himself provides enough thrill with his unyielding industriousness. The boy held captive is introduced in the movie as somewhat shy and picked on by school bullies, but is razor sharp 13 year old, "Finnley" will find a way to escape the soundproof basement of the sadistic killer they call the "Grabber" (brilliantly played by one Hollywood great, Ethan Hawk)! Great ending of the movie and saves us from the monotonous suspense Hollywood has kept going for a long! Bravo!
