Just saw the movie. ... I am thoroughly disappointed. It lacks a clear intent or focus. As well as context so. Actually understand what's happening. And all it really does, at least for me is give me intense resentment for journalists. Especially when they witness a blatant war crimes and then 5 seconds later are laughing it off. I know it's a movie. But it shows a clear lack of morals. And if the movie was attempted to show the experience of a wartime journalist in a American Civil War, I can't say it showed them in a good light. The message I got was that they are cowards with no morals or core beliefs. Which is a shame as I believe that actual journalists wouldn't invoke such interpretations. Overall, I'm glad I saw the movie. But I cannot say I'm happy about the experience.
