This documentary was amazing. Kalief's mom is literally the most amazing mom I've ever seen, besides my own. That woman really fought for her son and tried to be as supportive as she possibly could, unfortunately, even that didn't save him. Her relationship with her kids kinda makes me think adopting might actually be cool. His siblings were so amazing too. That Dad was evil. Never helped Kalief but wanted his share of the money.
But the strongest of all, Kalief browder, what an inspiration. I wish he had lived, but man, he did his best. He really fought to survive, but it was just too much for him. I kinda realized that suicidal people don't just choose to die, they really go thru a lot and fight to survive. Yoh I love that boy. He wasn't gonna admit to a crime he didn't commit. So strong. I woulda taken the plea deal if i had to go thru that. Loved this documentary. This shattered my heart, and made me really mad because there was no justice... but I still loved the documentary. Well made.
