I think it’s a very important read for people who want to understand the real American Indian, it includes information that Hollywood has never heard of or come close to except, Into The West, tv series. For example, I didn’t know how the Sioux felt about women, and that there was more power in killing women than men, in fact the first person Crazy Horse killed was a young Pawnee girl. I also kept wondering if Crazy Horse might have been half white, because of his curly hair and light complexion, his nickname was Curly!
