It wasn't as good as the first one, BUT it was still pretty good. Austin Butler was fantastic, as were most of the acting performances. Accurate with the book as well. However, I do have a few complaints..
(1.)The movie seemed choppy and rushed.
(2.)The CGI wasn't as good as the first movie. Maybe the budget was tighter?
(3.)Also, I'm not certain why the director felt the need to insert Chani referring to herself as "Johnny." This was not in the book and was purely political. The director also felt the need to give us a lesson on equal rights with Paul telling Chani, "I wish I was equal to you."
(4.)Seemed like they just hired a bunch of big-name actors to draw the crowds.
Overall, I'm not sure I'd see the next movie. I didn't feel the desire to see it again after leaving the theater. But the films do appear to follow along with the books, that is, getting progressively worse.
