Great idea, terrible show!
The main problem is that it doesn’t appeal to any demographic: as an adult, I really don’t want to see kids being treated like idiots and moreover, to watch kids acting (very bad acting btw) like spoiled brats; I believe that’s every adult worst nightmare whether you have kids or not.
For kids, the language and attitude is inappropriate, so I really don’t see what they were trying to do here.

I’m a huge fan of John Grisham’s books but this one was a complete waste of time. There are not cliffhangers, the part about the war was completely irrelevant to the story (even though it was interesting and well written but unnecessary in this book); It could have perfectly been a short story of no more than 100 pages.
