SPOILER ALERT, LAST PARAGRAPH
The movie is fine for 'what' it is. The plot, generally, is a tired one - perhaps with a few tweaks (I.E. It's during Thanksgiving) that could lend itself to a little originality. There's some humour, and in my opinion, quite a bit of gore. So, if you are squeamish, avoid.
If you are expecting to be entertained - I encourage you to put it on. If you are expecting a new or 'original' experience, avoid it - you will be disappointed otherwise.
SPOILER ALERT AHEAD
The plot is obvious after about 10 minutes. Of course, it's a small town that has suffered some form of attack, or 'trauma'. A year later (on the "anniversary", a masked killer surfaces. Sound familiar? It should.
Moreover, it's obviously the Sheriff. This is not new, or refreshing. And the ending....ugh... the ending is painfully unoriginal. Zero stars for making the watcher use a little deductive reasoning, because they straight up hand it to you on a silver platter. No...they throw it at you.
