A very bizarre series which if it were not about a true crime would be turned off after 10 minutes. In it we are taken on a journey presumably in the mind of the accused via various old films making them appear sad vulnerable and in need of our sympathy. The use of these different styles and visions may have been a way to portray how they coped with the horrific crime they committed but that is very much for the viewer to decide as it does not explain this, perhaps it was just trying to make the film arty. The cops in this are portrayed as idiots and foul mouthed almost suggesting they twisted the truth to wrongfully convict the innocent couple and you're left thinking why did they get found guilty and given such a long sentence. Bizarre from beginning to end and does nothing to show the horrendous crime they committed and were found guilty of.
