This movie is extremely unwelcoming and confusing for those who have not read the book. I read the book last year, but I brought my family along with me to watch it. I hyped this movie up so much to them, because the book was great, but this… man… y’all got me looking like a whole clown. Watching this with people who haven’t read the book is torturous. There is no proper walkthrough. I am currently sitting at the theatre writing this review. Currently like an hour into the movie and I’m internally praying that it gets better, because 4 tickets cost us $60. I’m regretting bringing them along so much. Please please get better.
