As a fan who grew up with this series, I am pleased with this rendition! I was scared at first, but the series definitely matched my expectations. Is it exactly like the original? Absolutely not, but it’s still a heart-filled, fun, and vibrant show that is filled with characters we fans love and very entertaining action scenes. Don’t go in expecting perfection, go in knowing that the show runners did respect the source material and bring some of our favorite moments to life! Also note to Netflix: you better not put this one on the chopping block like you have done with countless other great shows or I will be canceling my subscription, there won’t be anything I need on there besides Stranger Things 5. Give the fans what they want!
