I'm most of the way through Season 1. Never really cared for Spader but find him enormously satisfying in this. What is getting on my nerves is the woman (Keen). She has one patented look for all occasions: martyred, angst-ridden, tragic. (Much like Christian Lambert's smouldering gaze). She cries beautifully so does it a lot. It never mars her heavy make up, present through all scenes, whether is the shower, bed, mourning or in the field. Is wholly pesdestrian and not particularly incisive or professional. The FBI/govt is corrupt and inept but that is true to life. Sigh. Undecided whether I can stomach her nonsense through any more seasons.
