As a mother of a adult son who has struggled with addiction most of his life, this was a very enlightening read. It was like stepping into my own son's head and heart listening to the character Demon's words. Demon had a moral code in which he lived as a junkie. He was philosophical and compassionate. He was not a useless waste of space.This story weighs the heart as real life and the ones we love in the pulls of addiction. All are worth saving.Hope for this mama's heart.
