Yeah it's cringe in 2021 standards, but people watch garbage from the f-ing 80's. I enjoyed this movie a lot, inspired the games a lot, despite people feeling like this was a poor adaptation of the games. Considering the games didn't become action packed until 2004 with RE4, this movie clearly had more influence than folks might think. Bro this flick came out in 2002, let's not forget how old it is. I loved it, I know the series overall did poorly, like I'm not sure which movie had Wesker and Chris Redfield, but just the fight scene with Wesker throwing his shades was f-ing God awful, but I can tell you, watching RE1 the movie, id have assumed and been excited to see what's next for the series. A pretty solid f-ing movie inspired from a game if you ask me. No complaints. Watched this after a decade with a 44oz soda and some chips and enjoyed every minute. I felt sad for the computer geek, and I love the b**** that sounds like she's from Jersey. She was in Battle Los Angeles and I enjoy her acting, even from back then. Anyways, everyone calm down, the movie was a solid watch if you're gonna expand your disbelief for bad CGI and retro acting. I can only imagine this movie was f-ing awesome watching it all the way back in 2002, which means I'd have been roughly four to five years old. I digress, movie was a solid five out of five.
