I really loved this book. I needed a book to buy to sit by the pool and this was the chosen one based purely on the name. I didn't even read the blurb! Never read one of Dawn's books before but I do know she is an animal lover like myself. She managed to encapsulate all the emotions of being a fellow feline lover over human interactions. Really believed in Mia and Pigeon's relationship and made me reassess my own relationships with needless/ fairweather people. Ultimately, who am I here to please? Great work and thanks for mentioning Waffle. 😊
