Ok, so John and Jane are the same person, as well as the baby that becomes John and Jane, right? So all the absence of love and isolation is what created the anger of the Fizzle Bomber, which is actually the future version of John and Jane, so the basic premise is to send the time traveler back to take care of themself, and that problem gets compounded by the number of jumps forward and back to take care of the problem created by the time-traveling. The young John and Jane grew to love each other, while the older John and Jane did not. The snake that keeps eating its tail, while sipping on Dewars while telling themself the best story that they've ever heard. In the end, love conquers all, and everyone must learn to love themself if you are to have any future, even if that means going forward, or backward in time to kill yourself and starting all over again. Masterfully scripted and duplicitous, with many final assessments and destinations.
