This is a movie for old men. It is. It's slow, there's hardly a drop or rising action or suspense or tension or anything that makes a story worth watching, the romance is dropped in suddenly, featuring a very awkward and uncomfortable love scene and the performances are all stale and lifeless. The only character's that have any life to them are ex sheriff's Charlie and Buddy who are hardly in the film. If you are an old man, I'm sure you'll love it, if you want a story about legacy, race, love, and social status, that is artful, entertaining, and not an absolute drag, go watch anything else
