If you are looking for an Oscar-worthy, Hollywood glitz production movie, this one is not it. However, if you just want a slightly off-beat, low budgeted charmer, this is a perfect choice. Some have criticized the plot of the movie, but I think they missed the THEME of it. I saw it as a reminder that we can all start fresh, take a chance and renew our connection to nature. I am an older Chinese man and the movie inspired me enough to make a solo trip from Oregon to Zion National Park and hiked The Narrow. Before you start bashing it, Tom Huang wrote the screenplay, produced it, directed it and acted in the film. He most likely hiked some of those trails shown in the movie. How many of YOU critics can say you have done all that he has accomplished.
