This is a fun and imaginative openworlder. Quest-driven, but sandbox-y at the same time. The actual world is beautiful, filled with creative "biomes", each with their own sets of challenges and creatures and each a slightly grim result of the looming existential environmental crisis faced by the in-game characters.
The mechanics are forgiving and effortless; no clunky vehicles, fall damage or collisions. Discover new abilities to travel the landscape by land, sea and sky.
The quests (as well as other aspects of the game) harken back to the days of Rareware games on 64. You can save the planet or just help a local find some rubber scrap.
Crafting is a fun part of the game, albeit a bit overwhelming, but at least there are plenty of building options.
Overall an A. It's flaws are easily overlooked. A fun, challenging game that feels fresh but familiar at the same time. Worth the money.
